Rapid application onto flash cards

11 November 2009

New from Verity Systems, the LAB400 is an automated system to apply labels accurately to flash memory cards at up to 6,500 pieces/hour. Designed specifically for Flash Memory, including SD cards, compact flash cards and MMC cards, it is said to apply labels in a fraction of the time required to manually apply them, increasing productivity by up to 400% and reduces labeling errors.

Memory cards are automatically fed from a hopper to the label head, where a pre-printed label is applied ‘with a high level of placement accuracy’. Labelled cards can then be collected in an output hopper which stacks them neatly, ready for packing or wrapping. The removable input hopper, which can typically accommodate up to 400 cards, can be refilled without stopping the machine and, as the input hopper is removable, it can be loaded with memory cards in advance.
