Putting the gloss on at high speed

17 February 2004

A white, semi-gloss one-side label paper with "excellent on-press characteristics for high quality single or multi-colour print applications requiring an attractive semi-gloss appearance" has been unveiled by Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe.

An 85g/m2 machine-coated labelling material, Fasson MC, is available as standard with Fasson permanent adhesives Fasson S2000N and Fasson S2045 and BG40 glassine liner.

Avery says it can comfortably accommodate the needs of today's high-speed narrow and wide web presses, delivers high-speed conversion, offers optimal diecutting and matrix stripping and trouble-free dispensing.

Equally, end users specifying the new label material across numerous brand variants can be "assured colour specifications will be accurately matched every time".
