Putting a lid on untreated jars

23 June 2003

Frantschach Coating has designed a new lidding concept that provides satisfactory sealing results on untreated jars without glass treatment and/or glue.

The lidding material is suitable for packaging cosmetics and foods and is designed to provide high sealing performance within a wide temperature range on other container materials such as PVC, PS, PP and PET.

The lids preserve the integrity of the product by guaranteeing homogeneous sealing properties over the entire sealing area – high sealing force, peel-off for easy opening and tamper evidence. The lids do not tear during opening.
