Previously known as Huhtamaki Films, now operating under Infiana Group
With its new name, the film expert markets itself as a provider of ideas
Since 15 January, Huhtamaki Films has been operating under the name 'Infiana Group'. With the renaming, the film expert upholds its consistent market positioning and seamlessly continues in its role as a leading global player in the specialty film industry.
"We intentionally wanted to set ourselves apart in the search for our new name", explains Peter Wahsner, CEO of Infiana Group. "The self-created word represents the values that we wish to convey to our audience. A provider of ideas, a driving force behind innovation, and a films manufacturer who closely collaborates with its customers to create products of the highest quality - that is what Infiana does."
The name is a combination of the words innovation, infinity and films,among others. These three terms symbolise the know-how and core competencies of the film manufacturer: a company steeped in tradition, with a history spanning 160 years and headquarters in the Franconian town of Forchheim. Infiana also contains a reference to mythology: The name refers to Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt. "This underlines our continued commitment to developing new technologies and business models for the benefit of our customers. The Ouroborus symbol also emphasises the need to keep reinventing yourself in this context", continues CEO Wahsner. "We are convinced that in Infiana we have found a name that bears our philosophy and supports our market strategy with regard to our customers."
