Continued business growth, particularly from the non-food retailing and wines and spirits sectors, has seen self-adhesive label printer The Label Makers install two new presses at its Bradford factory.
An MPS flexo press with six-colour printing and varnishing will increase output of high volume work, while for additional short-run capacity the firm has installed a second Lintec letterpress offering high quality print, economical makeready, inline foil blocking and laminating.
"With its short makeready time the MPS will complement our three Nilpeter M3300 litho combination presses and significantly enhance our production turnaround capability," explains managing director David Webster. "The Lintec, meanwhile, is ideal for test marketing six-colour work."
