RPC Bebo Nederland is supplying Zwanenberg Food Group with square thermoformed tubs and pre-printed lids for pâtés sold under the Linera and Bob de Bouwer (Bob the Builder) brands.
It recommended polypropylene lids from RPC Bebo Plastik because of the potential for cost savings in the packing process and to give products a better shelf appearance.
The entire surface area of the lid, including the rim, can be printed, while advanced printing techniques allow ‘intricate and colourful’ graphics.
The lids can also withstand the lower temperatures of a chill cabinet without cracking says RPC.
