Hull-based container supplier Nekem has announced the introduction of its new brand UNOPAC, comprising the “famous” Nekem UNO bottles, blowmoulded by Pontypridd-based Riverside Plastics, and the UCP Mediloc child-resistant push down and turn closures, applied immediately post-moulding.
The UNOPAC combination is claimed to be the UK's only fully approved pre-capped tablet bottle, complying both with BS 1679 part 8 1992 for Pharmaceutical Dispensing for Solid and Semi-solid Medicines and BS EN ISO 8317 - Child-Resistant Packaging for Replaceable Packages.
Available in bottle green, special green, blue, clear and amber, the bottles are round cylindrical and range from 35-200ml capacity, with neck diameters, with R3 neck finish, of 22, 24, 28 and 33mm.
