PPS Glengoyne pack highlights whisky quality

21 May 2013

Professional Packaging Services (PPS) is producing the packaging for Ian Macleod Distillers’ Glengoyne 21 Year Old Highland single malt whisky.

The UK-based packaging company has used four different foils in the printing process – silver, two golds and a white – to reflect the quality and positioning of the premium whisky brand.

The look of the box is further enhanced by a ‘feathered’ design feature on all sides of the box, highlighted by a UV varnish, while a spot UV varnish has also been used to highlight the seal.

Internally, silver foiling of both the plinth and yoke completes the luxury feel.

“We have worked hard over the last few years to develop our presence in the drinks sector and as a result we have attracted some leading global brands,” says David Bell, sales at PPS.

“It is great to add such a well-respected company such as Ian Macleod Distillers to our growing client portfolio.”
