ExxonMobil Chemical Company has developed what is claimed to be an advanced polypropylene resin grade designed to provide the clarity and stiffness required for demanding thermoforming applications.
ExxonMobil PP5082KN is a nucleated polypropylene produced using proprietary processes to deliver heat resistance, fast cycle times and good melt strength.
"The new grade was developed with the requirements of thermoforming processors and end users in mind," says Ivana Jovanovic, who is the company's senior market development representative.
