P&G extends use of Dassault systems

Dassault Systèmes reports that consumer good giant Procter & Gamble has extended its use of the company’s 3D and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems for use in global packaging and artwork projects, to achieve cost and performance benefits.

Dassault says that with P&G it is developing an integrated suite of products to help make the packaging process more efficient, improve speed to market and increase shelf impact

Specifically, P&G has introduced the virtual and digital design capabilities of

Catia V6 and the virtual test capabilities of Simulia V6.

In addition, Enovia V6 enables global collaboration, reuse of design

elements and the automation of repetitive tasks, for overall benefits in the cost and performance of product packaging, says Dassault.
