Pfizer, BT-Auto-ID and Domino to speak at Total RFID event

Speakers at the seminars, being staged by Packaging Today's sister publication, RFID Solutions on stand 5780 throughout Total's first three days, will include Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals director for trade policy and external affairs, European Trade Group Andrew Bonser, discussing Pfizer's experiences with RFID and other auto-ID technologies and examining RFID's future potential in pharma, manager of Cambridge University's Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory Andy Shaw, addressing the challenges of tagging different packaging materials; Rexam Pharma marketing director Patrice Lewko, highlighting the company's work to date in tagging plastic containers and closures; and Eddie Dodds, cto, innovation, BT Auto-ID services, highlighting “Mass serialisation - the packaging challenge”.

Also presenting will be Tony Walsh, European Business Development Manager, Domino Printing Sciences, who will examine how RFID fits into the latest European pharmaceutical regulations, and GS1 UK's Robert Maidment and David Lyon, both addressing “How to turn RFID strategy into reality”.
