Plastics packaging technology specialist Petainer is to develop new products and markets following the acquisition of PET packaging manufacturer Rostiprimpac.? ?
Petainer has purchased Rostimprac AB, based in Norrkoping in Sweden, and Rostiprimpac Verpackungen GmbH based in Leinefelde, Germany, from A P Moller Maersk.? ?
Petainer has manufacturing plants at As in the Czech Republic and Lidkoping in Sweden where it has an R&D centre, also sales offices in Germany and the UK. ? ?
“This acquisition will reinforce our strategic focus on innovation and the development of new products and services and will enable us to diversify into new market segments,” says Petainer group chief executive Nigel Pritchard.
