PE and PP price hike

Basell has increased the price of PE and PP grades in Europe by €100/tonne. "This is necessary to restore margins to satisfactory levels after the prices of polyolefin products fell abruptly during May and June following a sharp fall in demand," says senior vice president Michel Julien.
