Paragon buys Sessions of York

Paragon Print and Packaging has purchased Sessions of York, a self adhesive label business, from the administrator.

Paragon Group manufactures self adhesive labels, linerless labels, promotional labels, flexible films, sleeves and cartons.

Sessions of York’ focsed on the pharmaceuticals, healthcare, personal care and household markets.

“We have been looking for an opportunity to expand our business into these markets and as a strategic fit, Sessions is ideal. The York location is an excellent platform on which to grow this established business,” said Mark Lapping MD Paragon Print and Packaging.

Group turnover is £135m. It has seven manufacturing facilities with 65 flexo presses and 950 staff.
