Paper industry October symposium

The Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) Senior Management Symposium will take place 13 October in London.

Corporate bosses and industry leaders will speak on the theme The Next Decade - Challenges and Opportunities.

The event is open to all CEOs, directors and senior managers from companies based in the UK and abroad. For the first time, non-CPI members are invited to attend.

Due on the podium at the Stationers’ Hall are Tony Smurfit, President and Group Chief Operations Officer, Smurfit Kappa Group; Jane Bickerstaffe, Director, The Industry Council for Packaging and the Environment (INCPEN); and Teresa Presas, Managing Director, Confederation of European Paper industries (CEPI).

They will be joined by Dan Rogerson MP, Liberal Democrat MP for North Cornwall and recently elected Chairman of the All Party Packaging Group; Jeremy Nicholson, Director, Energy Intensive Users Group; and Andrew Gregory, Waste Programme Manager, Defra (Department of the Environment).

Also to speak are Julien Seetharamdoo, Investment Strategist, Coutts & Co; Martyn Eustace, Director, Two Sides; Julie Hill, Associate, Green Alliance; and Clive Wilson, Mill Manager, Arjo Wiggins Ivybridge.
