Speciality cartonboard producer Pankaboard is strengthening its presence in the UK by opening a new sales office in the country.
The Finland-based company says the move is a “natural step” for Pankaboard as it continues to deepen its speciality strategy through its own sales organisation in the UK.
The company’s UK commercial sales activity was transferred with immediate effect from 18 March 2013, led by Pankaboard UK regional sales director Mark Aubrey.
The company’s current agent, Crossleys, will continue to operate the sales service functions until 19 April, however from 22 April, all sales service functions will be handled by Pankaboard UK from its new office in the central English city of Nottingham.
“This highlights our long term commitment to existing and new customers in the UK,” Pankaboard says.
