Packaging Innovations pulls in major luxury firms Gmund and Dapy

20 June 2013

Gmund and Dapy, two prominent companies in the luxury packaging sector, are to exhibit for the first time at the easyFairs Luxury Packaging show in London this autumn.

Co-located with the Packaging Innovations London event and Brand & Design Village 2013, the “rapidly expanding” Luxury Packaging show will take place on 1-2 October 2013.

Manufacturing paper since 1829, Gmund’s fine papers are today used by prestigious brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Campari, Cannes Film Festival and Godiva Chocolatier.

The Germany-based company’s international sales manager Siret Woldu says: “London is at the heart of the design, brand and innovation community; it’s the place where many designers and buyers working for major luxury brands go when looking for new ideas and inspiration.

“So when we heard that there was a packaging event in London that attracts over 3,000 people, with a dedicated Luxury Packaging show co-located in the same venue, we just had to be there.”

Marc Bruneau, sales manager at luxury packaging and point of sale specialist Dapy, adds: “The addition of the co-located Luxury Packaging show has taken [Packaging Innovations] to a new level.

It’s so relevant for our business and the perfect place for us to present our latest innovations and reach potential customers.”

Other companies due to exhibit at the October events include GF Smith Ltd, Wrapology, HH Deluxe Packaging, Cole Fabrics, Macfarlane Packaging, Premier Ribbon Bows & Boxes, Progress Packaging and MNC Stribbons.
