Packaging focus at Digital Print World

13 November 2003

Digital press manufacturers HP Indigo and Xeikon will be focusing attention upon short-run packaging applications at this month's Digital Print World exhibition, which debuts at London's Olympia 2 during 25-27 November.

In addition to the on-stand activity, visitors will be able to experience a truly new type of business event thanks to a host of visitor attraction initiatives devised by show organiser IIR Exhibitions.

These include a workflow cinema and digital output showcase, within which suppliers and users will demonstrate digital output solutions.

The digital print concept shop, to which visitors are invited to bring a CD or disk from which digitally printed end product will be generated, will provide them with a benchmark against the output from their existing analogue equipment.

A digital clinic will be manned by a team of expert consultants offering help, tips and guidelines to visitors, whether they are already using digital print technology or are evaluating the benefits of adding digital facilities to their existing offering.

Barry Hibbert, ceo of Polestar Printing Group, will officially open the event.
