Omnova Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals has introduced a further price increase of $0.03/dry pound for all GenFlo, GenCeal, Omnabond, GenCryl and GenCal styrene butadiene based emulsion polymers. The products are used in coatings, tape and adhesives, and nonwovens. The company has blamed the continuing escalation in the costs of key petrochemical feedstocks.
