Law Print & Packaging Management has bought the entire Qbag business from FFP Packaging Solutions, including pending patents.
According to Tim Law, managing director of Law Print & Packaging, the Qbag manufacturing machinery will be re-sited to a new production facility and the Qbag will be re-launched internationally within six months.
Qbag Ltd has been formed as a subsidiary of Law Print & Packaging Ltd based in Stockport.
Early Qbag customers included Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury, Waitrose and Lakeland. Qbag has won a Starpack award a DuPont packaging innovation award.
