Miami, Florida-based Karlville Development Group has further developed its shrink sleeve tunnel offering with the introduction of a 2-metre Steamer 2M, which can handle up to 200 bottles per minute.
The company says the internal design of the Steamer 2M and its dual blower exhaust system allow for high temperature generation with consistent internal pressure and low power consumption, and the tunnel’s integrated boiler means companies do not need to install stand-alone steam boiler on site, bringing savings in money and time.
The Steamer’s fully adjustable internal chamber design allows maximum efficiency, adjustable through operator hand dial to match the container profile.
The company lists other benefits of the “plug and play” Karlville Steamer 2M including: no need to build separate boiler rooms to house boilers; no need to hire engineers to design and permit boiler rooms; no need for costly overhead insulated steam pipe infrastructure; fully adjustable pipes for excellent steam distribution; and quick changeover.
