New dedicated office signals Sato commitment to India market

Barcode printing, labelling and EPC/RFID solutions provider Sato has opened a fully-fledged office in Gurgaon, India.

The Japan-headquartered global company has operated in India through strategic partners for the last 20 years, but is now seeking to: “Provide better service to customers and support Sato’s market position in the country.”

Thanuj Madanakesari, Sato India country director for South Asia, said: “We are well-placed with our expertise to work with our customers and partners and will continue to bring market-oriented solutions to a broader audience in India.”

President and CEO of Sato Holdings Corporation, Kaz Matsuyama, added: “The Indian market is going through remarkable change and modernisation, especially relating to technology. Therefore, India has emerged as a significant market for us.

“This strategic move will enable us to provide better services to our clients and at the same time be bullish on our growth roadmap in the country.”
