LGR Group, supplier of pharma folding cartons and a litho print specialist, is relocating and upgrading its industrial bases, to improve the global performance of its plants and create manufacturing centres of excellence.

In 2011 LGR-Leguay is relocating to a modern plant of more than 10,000m² in Saint Cyr en Val, near Orléans, France. An upgrade of the production equipment will include two new state-of-the-art KBA 106 litho printing machines and automated internal transfers.

In addition, LGR-Policolor will move during the first half of this year to a new plant of more than 6,000m², in Barbera del Vallès, north of Barcelona. The company will be installing a new KBA 106 litho printing machine and a second cutting machine with automatic stripping, to add to its competitiveness in the pharmaceutical folding carton segment.

Leguay and Policolor are subsidiaries of the LGR Emballages Group, which also specialises in litho printing corrugated boxes, with nine production plants in France, Spain and Belgium.
