More plastics from IBC

7 March 2005

UK glass merchant International Bottle Company [IBC] is further extending its foray into plastics, having recently produced 90 new bespoke plastic bottle designs.

The move, which extends its plastic bottle range to over 200, follows a review of its own and competitors' portfolios and a £300,000 investment in tooling equipment at its Enfield plant.

The 'Dream' range will eventually comprise 102 new bespoke bottles, but the 90 designs manufactured so far have already created 15 new container families to be unveiled at April's Cosmoprof exhibition in Bologna.

The new tooling equipment has enabled IBC to blow new bottle shapes and increase the number of sizes and finishes on offer.
