Available with 3.2 and 6.35mm orifice sizes, the 15-415 Smoothwall Flip-Top closure is "ideal" for miniature shampoo, lotion, hand sanitiser and other personal care product bottles.
For small tubes, Crown's 1in (25.4mm) diameter M8 Flip-Top tube closure, with 4.7 mm orifice, features a profile as short as non-dispensing closures, providing heightened functionality without a corresponding size increase. Both closures feature a "crab's claw" seal and can be produced in any colour.
In the UK Crown UCP has attained early approval to the new standard ISO 8317 (2003) for its Angle Neck Bleach General Trade (ANB GT) child-resistant closure used on 500ml -1.5l HDPE bottles. It adds: "The standard recognises the need for more stringent testing as the population continues to age and has set the adult age range for testing between 50 and 70 years only."
The new standard will be effective in the UK from January 2006 for filled stocks.
