GSI UK, the organisation that recently took on the role and remit of leading UK cross-sector supply chain standards authority the e.centre, reports a surge in interest in its June 7 EPCglobal Conference and Exhibition at London's QEII Conference and Exhibition Centre.

Sponsors include BT Auto-ID, Zebra, Markem, Sato and IBM Consulting Services, while the impressive speaker line-up includes John Clarke, director, group technology and architecture, Tesco, Simon Langford, chief RFID strategist at Wal-Mart, Astra Zeneca global RFID project director John Morgan, and EPCglobal president Chris Adcock.

Afternoon sessions will include in-depth presentations from companies including Gillette, ADT Europe, Jaguar Land Rover and Microsoft on their RFID experiences to date in sectors ranging from manufacturing, automotive and warehousing to retailing and distribution.

Delegates can also attend informative workshops focussing on such varied and valuable topics as the business case for RFID, traceability solutions, "achieving EPCglobal compliance in the real world" and "EPC Generation 2. It's finally here, now where is it going?".
