Milestone for labeller

16 June 2005

Newman Labelling Systems has supplied its 100th CTE 350 automatic labelling machine to New Zealand-based Pacific Pharmaceuticals, which travelled to the UK to see it in action before purchasing it.

Designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, the CTE350 can apply a range of self-adhesive, tamper-evident, anti-counterfeit and hologram labels.

At Pacific Pharmaceuticals the in-line machine features a fibre optic label sensor and has the flexibility to function as a through conveyor.

Newman Labelling Systems sales director Ian Hillaby says the labeller can operate at speeds of up to 350 containers/min across a range of carton sizes without the need for change parts. At just 1.3m long it is designed to integrate into lines where space is at a premium.
