Contract packer AE Adams (Henfield) has changed hands in a management buyout.
The family owned firm based in West Sussex provides a confidential contract manufacturing and packing service for branded and own-label products for the household, automotive and personal care product sectors. In-house engineering builds blending, filling & packing machinery and ancillary equipment. Turnover is £2.6m.
The deal was concluded with a £400,000 funding line through an invoice discounting package from Venture Finance.
New managing director Tony Milner says: “We experience tough market competition with cheaper service providers based in the Far East and Eastern Europe, we maintain our business by consistently providing high quality products and a reactive service.”
