Systems Labelling has a new Mark Andy 17 inch, 8 colour servo-driven flexo press, expected to be operational in April.
The new press will meet current demand and give the business ‘room to grow’, says Managing Director Gwyn Bouch.
“From a product development perspective we will also be able to run thinner gauge materials with PET liner, driving down packaging weight and offering a recyclable alternative to traditional glassine liners”, he adds.
It is said to provide an additional 15% capacity producing a minimum of 25 million metres/yr.
