Pizzafresh is the latest extension to Cryovac's Slicepak Plus packaging system for food products packed under modified atmosphere. A plain film can be used for high product visibility or printed film for product communication.
The packaging comprises a shrinkable barrier top film sealed on a flat rigid barrier support tray designed for pizzas of different sizes. It provides extended shelf life and a traditional presentation to make the food stand out on shelf.
While designed for pizzas, the round or rectangular rigid barrier support trays can also be used to pack other foods, such as quiches, bakery products, processed meat and cheese slices.
