Both companies recently went into administration, a move which MAPCIS ceo Mick Daw says "was a massive disappointment to everyone". However Daw says the new business's formation will ensure continued supply and support to previous customers, provide the opportunity to build on and develop established products and give staff the chance to further develop their skills.
MAPCIS will trade as two divisions – MAPCIS Software and Services (formerly MAP80) and MAPCIS Labelling (previously MAP 80 East), serving the same key markets. While addresses, telephone and fax numbers remain the same, the new e-mail and website address are: info@mapcis.com and www.mapcis.com.
Daw adds: "MAPCIS is not laden with a massive debt burden so our talented team can really move the business forward."
