Mailway makes it through six million

27 May 2009

Contract packing company Mailway Packaging Solutions handled more than six million gift set units across the fine fragrance, personal care, cosmetics and spirit sectors during 2008 – the first time it has broken through this milestone.

The firm predicts it will exceed this figure for 2009.

Meanwhile, the Bradford-based company recently expanded into Scotland, launching its Glasgow operation on 6 April, and is currently in talks about further expansion into the south of England later in the year. The company decided to extend its business to north of the border to cater better and more efficiently for its local customer base.

Speaking about the investment Mailway has made in its business, Steve Whitehouse, commercial director, said: “Our aim in everything we do is to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions within competitive timescales to ensure the continued success of Mailway Packaging Solutions.”
