French packaging inspection systems specialist Luceo Inspection Worldwide has crossed the Channel to open a sales office in Cambridge, to serve the UK food industry.
Luceo’s core business is 100 per cent inspection of fresh, self-service packaged foods. Its ThermoSecure system is already widely used in Europe for automated end-of-line inspection on production lines. ThermoSecure inspects the sealing of heatsealed trays and lids, checks labels and product information, and monitors the appearance of each package.
The new UK sales office will provide a service from designing inspection systems to commissioning and maintaining the equipment.
