Recently launched by German packaging machinery manufacturer PAAL and now available in the UK and Ireland from exclusive agent Kent-based CC Automation is the Elematic 1000VC 6000F continuous motion top-loading case packing system.
RSC cases are erected and placed into a continuously moving lug conveyor and the products are then picked and placed into their cases via line tracking for maximum accuracy. Depending on pack format, the system can run up to 100 cases/min. Two of the machines have recently been installed at a major UK personal care manufacturer, while a further three are being assembled for a leading New Zealand cheese producer.
