Logopak gets the cream

17 July 2009

Logopak has signed a contract for the supply of multiple print and apply labelling systems to a major dairy in the North of England.

The contract, for five ‘tandem pairs’ of high-speed tray labelling systems, five automatic pallet labellers and a number of off-line systems, was won through a third party supplier in Germany who claimed the contract for the filling and packing lines.

Logopak was the recommended supplier due to machinery already installed on other lines on the same site.

The specification for the Logopak systems are said to include: high standard stainless steel, sealed terminals, inclined surfaces on enclosures, integrated bar code scanning, dot shift, remote ‘dial-in’ service, label to view, and 10 to 15 year life expectancy/

With switch on of the lines is due between September and the end of 2009 Logopak has also agreed to conduct on-going maintenance.
