Linxs inks outside the box

20 June 2003

Linx Printing Technologies has entered the outer case coding market with the launch of the IJ600.

Designed to bridge the gap between high performance and low cost of ownership, the printer features a self-cleaning print-head and IP65 rated stainless steel enclosure.

It is capable of printing large characters, images and barcodes up to 70mm high on multi-wall paper sacks, cardboard, wood and other porous surfaces. The print quality also allows variable data to be printed onto generic packaging, thereby replacing pre-printed bags or boxes.

Features include a single jet array which allows precision printing at 7dots/mm; any orientation printing and a sealed printhead and ink system that allows refill during printing.
