The UK-based company, part of the Danaher Group, says the Linx TJ725 offers a high resolution, digital solution for coding onto outer cases, boxes, shelf ready trays and packaging.
The new printer is said to be simple to fit, supplied in “just a few pieces out of the box”, with no requirement for training, specialist installation tools or a service engineer visit.
Linx product manager Jason Remnant says: “Thanks to the Simply Smart Technology combined in the TJJ725, we are confident in offering the easiest to use TIJ case coding solution in the market place.”
Other features of the new Linx TJ725 thermal inkjet printer include:
- Replaceable ink cartridge with integral printhead gives “no risk of expensive printhead repairs or replacement"
- Automatically detects type of cartridge fitted and adjusts for optimum printing performance
- Easy, tool-free repositioning of the printhead – during product changeovers printer can be set up “quickly and easily in the correct printing position”
- Built-in speed sensor automatically detects both the line speed and direction – “no separate encoder needed”
- Colour screen clearly shows operators the message selected as it will be printed, “reducing the risk of coding errors”
