The Lindal Group has added the new Sunny twist-lock, overcap-free actuator to its advanced range of aerosol dispensing solutions.
According to the Hamburg, Germany-based company, the Sunny actuator represents an “appealing” new alternative for makers of products such as deodorants and antiperspirants, sun protection and self-tanning products.
The Sunny actuator’s ergonomic design was developed for easy actuation and high top-load resistance, for use in a wide range of personal care product applications. According to the company, a major retail launch is “imminent”.
As the new actuator is the first to be produced at the Lindal Group’s new Itupeva facility in São Paulo, Brazil, the Sunny will bring enhanced supply chain benefits for customers throughout the Americas, as well as globally.
“With our Sunny, we have a full-featured, advanced actuator, produced locally, competitively priced and available now,” says Moacir Camargo, Lindal Brazil’s managing director.
“Here is the first example of how our custom-built, expandable new facility can benefit customers throughout the hemisphere and around the globe.
“And in emerging markets, where rising local market consumer spending power will boost demand for personal care products and innovative aerosol packaging solutions, our offerings will have particular appeal,” Camargo adds.
