Designed to show cakes and similar items off to their best, the Piramyd “concept” is based around packs with a cardboard base and a transparent PET lid. The Piramyd box was already available in four standard dimensions - 190 x 190mm, 210 x 210mm, 250 x 250mm and 280 x 280mm, with two different heights. The current assortment extension was specifically developed to wrap two small cakes in a box. There are two new rectangular pack formats, with dimensions of 190 x197mm and 210 x 115mm, both 80mm high. Three trays variations are available for the smaller box - depending on the form of the pastry - with two round, two square or two rectangular cavities.
