Latest Rieke pump ideal for emollient creams

29 August 2007

Rieke, which claims the dispenser can achieve a minimum 98% product evacuation, says creams and lotions’ inability to self-level means conventional pumps tend to draw product from the container’s centre, leaving substantial residue clinging to the side. In contrast, Airless HDVS uses airless and piston-up technology to push product up from the bottom of the pack. It can also dispense “very large” amounts – “of as much as 500ml and more”. Rieke says airless operation is also ideal for oxygen-sensitive products, while the absence of metal contact parts “eliminates the risk of contamination”.
