Markem Systems has added to its popular Smart Date family range a thermal transfer coder which offers users a larger print area for enhanced custom product branding and information.
The SmartDate 3i/100 intermittent thermal transfer coder features a large print area up to 107mm wide x 74mm long, which enables nutritional information and barcodes to be printed “with ease”. It also has more processing power, for faster 300 dpi imaging, more memory to maintain a large image database and the added flexibility for integration of other systems. Other features include easy operator fault-finding, optional portable data transport, ribbon-save modes as standard, full diagnostics and intuitive menu-driven software.
The coder can also be networked using CimControl networking software for improved productivity and increased efficiency.
