Toshiba Tec says its new Z-mode enables ZPL II users to choose its RFID-ready label printers in all their operating environments - at no extra cost. Toshiba Auto ID printers running Z-Mode are said to provide maximum security when accessing valuable legacy host data; an array of features for enhancing user productivity; and the ability to seamlessly integrate with new and evolving technologies, such as new RFID and barcode standards.
Z-Mode is currently built into Toshiba Tec’s B-SX4, B-SX5 and B-SA4 Auto ID printers and will be made available to the RFID-ready B-SX6 and -8 label printer series soon.
