Label-Aire offers affordable introduction to RFID

18 April 2005

Danish pressure-sensitive label applicator manufacturer Label-Aire says its new Model 3115 primary applicator, with its easy wipe-on labelling system, offers an affordable introduction to RFID.

Zero Downtime Labelling allows production to continue without costly interruptions, while product/label queuing and missing label compensation "virtually eliminate" the risk of unlabelled products.

Advanced RFID features include EPC, Class 0, Class 0+ and Class 1 RFID tag encoding, "user-friendly" Label-Aire RFID tag formatting software and a patent pending Bad Tag Rewind mechanism. The 3115 RFID can be configured for tamp-blow or air-blow labelling and has a feature which allows "product surface profiling", ensuring wrinkle-free labelling "even on the most difficult product shapes and label materials".

Label-Aire will be showing its range of labelling equipment at interpack.
