Biotherm, a division of L’Oréal Luxe, has launched its new anti-blemish treatment in a 15 ml tube, using Seaquist Closures’ PinPoint dispensing applicator.
PinPoint is said to combine ‘precision with cleanliness’, dispensing the product from a conical-shaped silicone valve. The soft-touch valve allows consumers to apply the product directly to a specific area without touching the applicator with fingers. As soon as the consumer stops squeezing the tube, the product flow cuts-off. The closure, which is made of polypropylene, has a 19 mm diameter and is suitable for smaller volume tubes. A sleek overcap protects the applicator tip.
Stéphanie Nicolle, Product Development Manager for l’Oréal Luxe says, “The superior accuracy and hygiene of the Pinpoint applicator make it ideal for this type of skin treatment product.” The product was awarded an Oscar de L’Emballage 2008 in Paris last November.
