Kiwi wine maker prefers Linx

18 March 2004

Leading New Zealand wine maker Montana Wines, the country's largest wine exporter to the UK, is using three Linx inkjet printers, which were preferred to other manufacturers' machines, particularly for their "exceptional reliability" and the supplier's after-sales service. Two Linx 6200s are coding wines and a Linx 6800 codes champagne bottles at Montana.

The company bottles around 50M litres of wine annually, printing onto bottle labels as they are applied by a labeller at 250 bottles/min. "We were looking for inkjet machines that are easy to use, easy to maintain, robust and simple to train staff on and both models possess these qualities," adds bottling manager Paul Rae.
