Kao to Launch New Prestige Cosmetics Brand 'SOFINA iP'
Kao Corporation will launch the new prestige cosmetics brand SOFINA iP on November 13, 2015 for women in the 'quest for long-lasting beauty.' The new brand will be launched in advance at the 'Try&Enjoy' Shop located in SOFINA Beauty Power Station to be opened in Ginza, Tokyo. From January 2016, the brand will be released at department stores nationwide.

Kao will develop the SOFINA iP brand with two items in the lineup: SOFINA base essence, an essence with high-concentration*1 carbonated*2 foam for use as a skincare base*3 after facial cleansing, and SOFINA drink, a beauty drink formulated with high-purity chlorogenic acid.

SOFINA drink is a result of Kao's proprietary "Holistic Beauty Science" research studies focusing on the innate, natural power of humans to be beautiful. Formulated with the key ingredient chlorogenic acid (plant polyphenol), nutritious ingredients are delivered and circulated throughout the body. The drink activates the ability to regain beauty often reduced by fatigue and stress, and brings about a happy feeling when looking in the mirror in the morning. Because it is a caffeine-free drink, it can be taken at night.
