A wide range of Type 1 injection vials has been launched by Johnsen & Jorgensen.
The vials are among the first to emerge as a result of the recent agreement between J&J and Gujarat Glass, one of the world's largest glass container producers.
J&J says it is now uniquely placed to offer UK customers competitively-priced vials – made exclusively from borosilicate Type 1 glass – which can be customised to suit highly specific needs. Capacities, for example, range from 2-540ml, while neck diameters include 13,20 and 32mm sizes.
The company can also supply a wide range of stoppers or crimp-top seals.
With product quality and dimensional consistency crucial with Type 1 vials, J&J says on-line cameras inspect all production. Dedicated laboratories also run rigorous checks on both raw materials and finished products.
