J&J gains rights to Olea cap

Johnsen & Jorgensen has been appointed sole UK stockist for small to medium volume users of the Olea cap [Packaging Today - March, p18], claimed to be the first plastic purpose-designed closure for olive oil and vinegar bottles.

The company, the UK agent for Italian glass packaging manufacturer Vetreria Etrusca SRL, is setting minimum quantity orders "as low as economically viable" to enable small volume producers and bottlers of olive oil vinegar and similar foodstuffs to benefit from the cap.

Vetreria Etrusca UK in Penrith will continue to supply large volume users.
