17 March 2003

In a drive to deliver a more diverse and versatile product offering, Pactiv Jiffy has introduced a new range of rigid mailing envelopes, boxes and tubes.

Sold under the Jiffy brand name the products are designed to be easy to assemble. They have a special corrugated construction that is said to offer increased strength and cushioning properties. Reinforced edge protection provides added strength with a strong self-seal and tear strip.

"The Jiffy range of rigid mailing products covers a fantastic variety of packaging needs," says Jiffy product manager Lisa Booth. "The Media Kraft range, for instance, features 'special size' products for mailing and protecting DVDs, CD's, videos, software. These include a CD shipper, a media case and a CD-Rom case."

For rolled products such as prints and films, there are corrugated tubes that have a sturdy, trapezoid form that is easy to stack.
