The resealable wide-mouth Vino-Twist cap has been used on a 1-litre embossed glass carafe – in blue for the whites and gold for the reds. An unusual packaging format for the Italian market, the bottle shape is reminiscent of an "old Italian-style" jar.
Vino-Twist can be opened without a corkscrew, making the pack ideal for outdoor events, while Amcor says the closure hermetically seals the bottle, ensuring wine is not tainted by external aromas. Containers incorporating Vino-Twist are cold-filled, with sealing, without steam, undertaken on an Amcor White Cap sealing machine.
